I was approached by "Wharton School Publishing" and "Financial Times Press" to review a latest book on Options Trading "The Volatility Edge in Options Trading" by Jeff Augen of New York Institute of Finance.

Since I was traveling, I couldn't send my remarks about the book in time for inclusion in the blurp section. I have been told by them they will still include in the Editorial reviews on Amazon.

As a token of appreciation they will send me 5 copies of the book. Instead of giving those away to general blog readers I would like to give away these to OPN subscribers. Can you suggest a good approach to distribute 5 copies (except the first cum first serve)

The book cost nearly US$27 and you can purchase it at :

ME ME ME!!! LOL

this will exclude me as i am new but Sad... i guess you could give it to your most loyal subscribers first by subscription length... they have given you the most money... might be nice to pay them back beyond your stock picks.

P.s. my GF and i got a puppy for Xmass and i think she is really cute... we entered her in the bissell "dogy next top model" thing on tv commercial... if you have extra THETA to kill... you can vote for her on link below.

If i dont win one of those fancy wharton books... at least i have a shot at a spot vac. (shes cute but isnt exactly potty trained)

thanks

OP,

My suggestion would be to distribute the books to the forum members have been the most active participants in helping other members.  There have been tons of good information FREELY shared in these forums, and what better way to show new members that ALL participation is welcomed here.  Be it seasoned trader, or a newbie making the first trade, it is nice to know that the community of traders is here to help each other.  It becomes a trading family 'of sorts', and we all are trying to help each other succeed.

We all made our first click of the mouse at one point in time, and what better way to Pay it Forward than by helping others.

Again, only my $0.02.

The books are planned to be shipped next week.

In case you have questions about the book or any concept in the book, pls post your questions on the post (http://www.optionpundit.net/ops-reading-list/volatility-edge-in-options-trading).

Jeff has kindly agreed (depending on his schedule and time availability) to answer some of the questions. But again, pls be very specific.

Jeff (the author of the book I profiled earlier, The volatility edge in options trading) has just posted his comment on the main OptionPundit website, you may want to check out and let him know if you have any questions directly on that post..I am sure he will be glad to answer your questions, when he has time...
